Torquay Real Estate Open Home Inspections Jan 21-22

Amid a bit of uncertainty in the world comes the good news of interest rate cuts. When the Reserve bank gave us an early Christmas present of a 25 basis point rate cut, it marked the first back-to-back monthly cut since April 2009. The December reduction alone will save the average mortgage holder – with a $ 300,000.00, 25 year loan- about $ 47.00 a month. With more interest rate cuts predicted in the coming months, this will surely help all of us enter the New Year with optimism and a smile!

Happy New Year from Torquay Real Estate 2012

Greetings from Great Ocean Road Real Estate, Torquay.

Torquay has seen many changes throughout 2011. Growth in the Torquay/Jan Juc area has increased to a permanent population of over 12,000. 2011 has been the year of growth and continual real estate development with the RACV complex, the relocation of the Surf Coast Shire Offices and the Torquay boat Club. These developments are helping to establish Torquay as a fantastic self sufficient community with world class facilities and local clubs for everyone to enjoy.

Over the last week, many have enjoyed a Summer Christmas in Torquay and the socialising and festivities are set to continue for New Years Eve with many events and parties set to take place in the local community. We have much to look forward to in 2012 with many more business’s small and large setting up shop on the Surf Coast.

Torquay Real Estate Open House Inspections December 17 & 18

HO, HO, HO! Santa is scheduled to travel from the North Pole and drop down the chimney in less than 10 sleeps. December is a month of excitement for all with school holidays starting, treasured time with family and friends, Christmas presents, wining and dining and lastly going on holidays. Torquay Real Estate Open House Inspections December 3 – 4

The calendar would suggest that Summer is officially here, however it is clear someone is yet to tell the sun! I am sure those lovely, long warm summer days at the beach, afternoon BBQ’s and nights socialising are sure to kick off very shortly with the Christmas festivities just around the corner. It is officially time to get excited, not only as Christmas is just 3 weeks away but also because there is plenty to keep you and I occupied over the coming weeks with the Torquay high tide festival this weekend, Carols by the sea next weekend and time to relax at the beach in between.
