MOVEMBER IN TORQUAY 
The sales team at Great Ocean Real Estate are pleased to report that they not only endured a full month of ‘moustachery’ but also raised over $1,000 for Beyond Blue and the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

Michael Ferris, Geoff Bennett and Simon Hunnam ended the month with varying quality, style and density of mows. Ferris started slowly and finished with a somewhat thinly spread wispy style whilst Bennett’s efforts resulted in a healthy well balanced spread with a definite ‘box car’ mow resulting. Hunnam blended his with a beard in the early stages, opting to bring the lot back to a mow about mid month and ending up with a proud though reddish looking growth that was described by most as respectable indeed and the word spread (thanks Stevey G at bay FM)

All three agents opted not to keep their mows due to majority opinion and general uncomfortableness though all agreed that they did not lose any business looking as they did.

Fundraising started a bit slower than expected as it became evident that so many people were supporting Movember and had sponsored others early on in the program. So calls went out, emails were sent around the town.

By November 29th the boys had raised $720.00, $280.00 short! To their relief Great Ocean Road Real Estate’s Directors came to the rescue and tipped in $290.00 to push the total raised to $1,010 – target met.

Geoff, Simon and team captain Michael would like to publicly thank all those that assisted and supported them throughout Movember with a special thanks to all that donated to this great cause and particularly to Great Ocean Road Real Estate for getting the team over the targeted amount.

All three are undecided if they will ‘grow-a-mow’ again next year though they stand ready to assist and advise anyone regarding the art of growing and nurturing a fine moustache!!
